Dr. Memar is a General Dentist and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Restorative Dentistry in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has been an active faculty member in the department since 2013 teaching
first- and second-year dental students in Pre-Clinical Laboratory courses. Dr. Memar is a PCU Group Leader, teaching junior and senior dental students in the Comprehensive Clinical Restorative course.
In his home country he had practiced and educated dentistry for over 10 years where he also held a private practice during that time. After he graduated with honors from Penn, Dr. Memar practiced as an Associate General Dentist in a private practice in Norristown, PA prior to joining
Penn Dental in 2014.
His passion is in treating esthetic cases and full mouth rehabilitation, including porcelain crowns,bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, complete and partial dentures as well as dental implant restorations and overdentures. His professional mission is providing excellent quality comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Memar lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
