Our Locust Walk location, within the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, is easily accessible from anywhere in the city via the Market Frankford Line; trolley routes T2, T3, T4, T5; bus route 40; and all University City LUCY buses.

Parking

A parking voucher can be obtained for discounted parking rates at the Penn Parking Garage located at the Acme at 40th and Walnut Street (the entrance is on Walnut Street). The garage is known as the Walnut 40 and can be searched at 4009 Walnut Street. The rates are $11 for the first five hours and a $15 daily rate after 5 hours. It’s a straight walk down S 40th Street, taking approximately three minutes to get to our Locust Walk office.

Clinic Hours

We offer extended hours to provide flexibility to patients with different schedules. Here’s a list of our hours:

Monday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: Call for availability

Specialties

We offer a wide range of specialties at Locust Walk so you can receive all the care you need under one roof:

  • Dental Implants: Dental implant providers—periodontists, oral surgeons, and other specialists—permanently replace missing teeth with implants that look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
  • Endodontics: Endodontists perform root canal therapy to avoid extracting infected or abscessed teeth, as well as other surgeries and procedures treating dental nerves.
  • Prosthodontics: Prosthodontists design and fit such artificial restorations of teeth and replacements of missing teeth as crowns, bridges, full and partial dentures, and dental implants.
  • General Dentistry: Dentists and dental hygienists provide routine preventative services (examinations, cleanings, and oral cancer screenings) and such common dental treatments as fillings and crowns.
  • Cosmetic Dentistry: Aesthetic treatments such as teeth whitening, dental veneers, crowns, dental implants, and more improve the smile’s appearance and overall oral health.
  • Periodontics: Periodontists diagnose and treat gum disease (periodontitis), perform surgeries on gum and bone, place dental implants, and provide other services to ensure health around the teeth.
  • Orthodontics: Orthodontists correct crooked and misaligned teeth and “bad bites” (malocclusions) using traditional and clear (invisible) braces.
  • Oral Surgery: Oral surgeons extract wisdom teeth and others as needed, place dental implants, and perform reconstructive and cosmetic procedures to restore and improve oral appearance and function.
  • Pediatric Dentistry: Dentists specializing in the oral health of children and patients with special needs provide general screenings, preventative care (including fluoride application), restorations, and extractions.
