Your Insurance Options

At Penn Dental Family Practice (PDFP), you have access to some of Philadelphia’s most experienced dental professionals practicing a wide range of dental specialties, all under one roof.

You also have several options when it comes to paying for your care.

Commercial Insurance Plans

Although PDFP is not an in-network or preferred provider with any commercial insurance plan, we do and will coordinate with and accept Assignment of Benefits (AOB) from any of them, meaning we can file claims with and receive payments from them directly.

Our financial coordinators will work closely with you, even filling out the necessary forms for you, to make sure you maximize your benefits.

The base of commercial carriers we work with is constantly growing.

Penn Dental Insurance Plans

Penn Dental offers three convenient and affordable insurance plans. They cover up to 100% of necessary care and offer coverage that other plans don’t, including orthodontics, prosthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry.

Compare your Penn Dental Plan options to other plans and see how much you can save on high-quality oral health care.

Do you accept Medicaid or state-funded plans?

We do not, but we can direct you to Penn Dental Medicine, our University of Pennsylvania facility, which does accept such plans.
